MBprobe 1,3 RC3
DescriptionMBProbe is a program which monitors voltages, temperatures and fan speeds using hardware monitoring chip(s) available on many modern motherboards. Its features include: Up to 9 voltage, 4 temperature and 3 fan speed readings (subject to the limitations of hardware monitoring chip(s) present). Automatic detection of monitoring chips. Small memory footprint. Setting of nominal voltage and fan speeds with warning thresholds. Setting of temperature warning limits and offset readings. Setting of sensor used for each temperature reading. Temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Customisable task when critical temperature is exceeded for more than 30 seconds continuously. Ignores fan warnings for 10 seconds after system comes out of suspend. Swappable temperature display in status icon on taskbar. Event and history logs. 1.30 RC3 is out. This is the last release candidate before the real 1.30 comes out: Genesys Logic GL528SM(=GL523SM) temperature monitor support. Maxim MAX1618, MAX1619, MAX1668, MAX1805 temperature monitor support. Philips NE1617, NE1617A(=MAX1617) temperature monitor support. ALi M5897 hardware monitor support. VIA 82C686A/B hardware monitor supported on SMBus (MSI-6340). Removed previous MSI-6340 voltage dividers. Attempted fix for Abit KA-7 +2.5V reading. Confirmed AMD-766 code with official datasheet. Rearranged some voltage dividers. LM80 default voltage divider follows datasheet. QDI BrillianX 1(S) voltage divider. PC-Chips M599 voltage divider. Fixed main sensor incorrect readings when SMSC super I/O detected. (bug in 1.30RC1) Default enable tooltip and tray icon for active temperatures and fans. Hide motherboard-specific temperature sensors when no chip detected
